All I Want for Christmas Is...Anything New Moon Related!

My family is already on alert and has been for months now. I will take anything and everything New Moon related and be completely happy.

Okay, maybe not anything. The Edward and Bella Barbie dolls creep me out a bit. Anybody else?! It's just too hard to make them look as good as the real thing. Although, this manufacturer has done a better job.

I really want the board games and the Scene It! game for home and my iPhone.  My family doesn't stand a chance to beat me.  Michael is trying to convince me to wait until all the movies have been made.  He's confident they'll make a Twilight Saga Scene It!  But I just can't do it.  I NEED it now!

One of the things on my list that was not made for Twilight or New Moon, but I absolutely love and have decided is an unofficial Twilight product:  Bath & Body Works Twilight Woods.  It's currently their number one scent.  My daughter and I love it.  It has a sweet, musky scent...the way I imagine Alice smells.  If you haven't tried it, get to your nearest B&BW to try it!

Btw, while I'm on the subject of things that smell good...there is a cologne that makes me want to sink my teeth into my hubby:  Abercrombie & Fitch's Fierce.  OME!!  There have to be pheromones in it because I positively cannot resist him when he wears it.

There are so many cool products out there for Twilighters.  Be sure to get them on your list for Santa!

Jimmy Kimmel Live This Week

Be sure to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live this week.

Tonight, Rob, Kristen and Taylor along with Death Cab for Cutie are scheduled.  It'll be a "Twilight Twi-fecta" as Jimmy puts it.  I think it's a repeat, but who cares?!  I cannot wait to watch it!  The rest of the week he has Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, and Ashley Greene.  I have yet to see Elizabeth Reaser appear on any talk shows.  I wonder why that is.  Hmmm...I must research this and get back to you later.

I'm bummed I missed Peter Facinelli last week.  I set my DVR on my iPhone, but it didn't pick it up.  There were probably too many other shows being recorded.  We use the DVR a lot in my family so schedule conflicts happen frequently.  I don't know what I did before my DVR.

Wait, yes I do.  I used a VHS recorder and tape that had been used over and over for years, and was grainy and horrible to watch.  Oh, how I enjoy AT&T Uverse!

This Week's Line-Up

One down and four to go; days of TV interviews that is.  I set my DVR Sunday night to record my favorite people from the Twilight saga: Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene. They will be appearing on The Jay Leno Show, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, The Today Show, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, and I'm sure others I don't even know about. The other stars are on various talk shows as well, but I only have so much time people.

Last night, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart appeared on The Jay Leno Show and The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, respectively.

It was great how Jay had one of Taylor's favorite football players, Jerry Rice, show up to pass the football for Taylor to "earn" his plug. And I loved the part on Conan when Kristen ran her fingers through his hair; she credits Nikki Reed for starting that. They both were so cute and I just love how they seem shy and down-to-earth.

Here they are, just in case you missed them. Fast forward to the times I've listed. Taylor is at 16:55; Kristen is at 19:08. Enjoy!

A little about me

Note:  this post was originally published at The Eclectic Woman on November 10, 2009.

I am Mom to a teenage son and preteen daughter. Needless to say, the hormones are revving up and about to make their horrifying grand entrance. I am certain I'm pre-menopausal, so things should be quite interesting around here in the next two years. If we make it through without someone dead or in prison, I will be celebrating for two months in Italy. All donations accepted.

We have three pets--a Shih-Tzu, named Harley, a cat named Rocket, and a Beta named Spike--who add to the craziness of our household. The beta actually tends to be neglected. The dog terrorizes the cat, the cat and kids terrorize each other, the kids terrorize Mom, and Mom takes this out on Dad! Dad is prepared for this and so his weapons of choice are Starbucks or Sonic drinks and romantic movie rentals.

But seriously, I am married to a wonderful husband (fourteen years and counting). He is truly a rare breed, from what I see and hear from the women around me. Does he have his faults? Of course. Depending on my mood, you might find them listed in chronological order and rated by degrees of severity.

All-in-all he's a great guy and I wouldn't trade him for anyone...except maybe for Rob Pattinson, but only for a night, okay maybe a whole day, what about for the weekend; no wait, a week. Oh, who am I kidding?! If Rob Pattinson shows up at my door, he must be lost.

Which means no one knows where he is but me! Which means I can lock him in my room and make him play Melanie's Bella's Lullaby and sing "Let Me Sign" over and over! Then I can charge my friends to get a peak at all his wonderful Rob-liness!

Then when my husband comes home and the FBI show up, the men in white coats will carry me off to the padded room of my choice.

Check out the link below to be part of a streaming webcast on November 15.

Borders: New Moon Live Webcast

Also, did you know that Twilight will be released on the Big Screen again for one day only?! November 19th, the day before New Moon is released, you will be able to see Twilight at the theater.

I've already got my tickets for the 12:01 showing of New Moon. I might have to get tickets for Twilight as well since I've only see it on Blu-Ray.

A larger-than-life Edward in two movies...how will I be able to contain myself?! I better take smelling salts.

New Moon preview during Sunday Night Football

For those of you who don't know, there a was a new preview of New Moon during the Giants-Cardinals game last night around 9:30.  It was awesome!

There were different clips than the current trailer on the official website:  more of Victoria, Laurent being chased by the pack, Jacob "wolfing" out about to attack Edward, and so much more. Michael loved it and commented on all the action.  He even skipped back so we could watch it again.  I told him not to erase it, but he forgot and now it's gone forever. Boohoo!!

Seriously, I really did cry when he told me.  He immediately ran to my laptop to find it online so he could connect it to our flat screen TV and make me happy.  Alas...no preview.

Okay, I know I'm not crazy because he saw it with me.  No matter how hard I try though, I cannot find it online.  Apparently the powers that be don't want this one virally distributed or something, but certainly there would be some mention of it somewhere.

I will not rest until I find it.  When I do, I will reveal it here it all it's wonderful, sexy-vampire/wolf-action/scary-Volturi glory.

First Single from New Moon Soundtrack: Meet Me on the Equinox

If you haven't heard, MTV premiered Death Cab for Cutie's "Meet Me On The Equinox" music video tonight.  It's the first single from the New Moon Soundtrack. I first saw it on HisGoldenEyes and immediately loved it. (I'm sure the movie clips had nothing to do with that...yeah, right! My blood pressure is returning to normal.) This song is perfect for that painful "ending". Enjoy the video!

The soundtrack is slated to release on October 20.  I cannot wait to get my hands on this CD and hear the other songs.  My husband is on alert!

Twilight Tracker...new iPhone app from Summit

While updating my status on Twitter tonight, I found out Summit launched a new app on iTunes called the Twilight Tracker. I was concerned it might be lame, but was pleasantly surprised.

The main feature is sending "shouts" (in real time almost because it updates seemingly every minute) to fellow Twihards.  I love this because my family can only hear so much, so many times about Twilight before they roll their eyes and shake their heads at me.  There is also apparently someone on there from MTV giving up juicy gossip...as much as he can anyway.

The graphics are good quality, even the New Moon trailer looks great and all three trailers are on there to view.  It's not grainy at all like when you watch it on YouTube.  (No offense, YouTube.)  You can choose which Twilight character you want for your avatar and save several photos from New Moon as wallpaper for your iPhone.

Another feature includes the latest news in the world of Twilight from the craze about wanting RPattz to appear on SNL to how to dress like the characters of the Twilight Saga and so MUCH MORE!!

If you have an iPhone and are a Twilight fan, this app is a must-have!!  Click on the link below highlighted in red.

FanAlert from Fandango

Oh my Edward!  My heart's all aflutter.  I just saw an email FanAlert from Fandango telling me I can purchase tickets for New Moon.  Woohoo!

The only person around to tell was my soon-to-be teenage son.   He made fun of me, pretending to be excited in a very dramatic and patronizing way.  I'll be sure to remember that when the hormones let loose and he starts to drool over Megan Fox.

If you haven't signed up for Fandango fan alerts, do so now and get your tickets for New Moon!!

Yes, Another Twilight Blog

There are many great blogs out there with up-to-date information about all things Twilight related.  I have scads bookmarked, and a couple that I visit daily (Twilight Treasury and TwilightMoms).  There are even some that are quite unique and comical (Twilight Guy).  I love almost all of them.

However, I wasn't finding an outlet for my own thoughts; a place where I could comment on things I've noticed or discovered since this obsession started nearly two months ago.

So, I thought, why not start my own?

I immediately imagined all those non-Twilighters out there sighing and screaming a collective, "Not another Twilight blog!"  Then inspiration struck.  Imagine my excitement when the name was available!

I feel so clever.

I don't intend to be a carbon copy of other Twilight blogs and hope you find something you enjoy when you visit. If you think something is missing or have an idea, please share it in the comments.  Just remember to play nice or the Comment Nazi will delete you.

I look forward to hearing from my fellow Twilighters and everyone else!
